BabyGoods4Hire was set up in Jersey in the Channel Islands in 2004 and is run by Emma Bannister and Lesley Anne Romeril.

About our Company:

The idea behind BabyGoods4Hire came to us following a few stressful trips off the island with our own pre-school children. Lugging travel cots, car seats, pushchairs, sterilisers as well as all the other baby paraphernalia was such a headache. We simply wished we could have waved a magic wand and have everything we needed delivered and waiting for us at our destination.

A lot of time is spent researching our products. We therefore regularly attend trade exhibitions to keep up-to-date with the nursery industry experts and the latest equipment on the market. Safety is our number one priority. We only supply brand-name quality items and we like products that are durable and easy to use.

As well as supplying the many tourists who visit our beautiful island with their little ones, BabyGoods4Hire deal directly with hotels, guesthouses, campsites, etc and we hope our business contributes to families deciding to come to Jersey on holiday.

Locally, customers are not just individuals who have babies and toddlers coming to visit. We provide personalised packages, generally "matching" high chairs and a range of toys for weddings, christenings and other private functions. We get calls from everyone but more often than not we are contacted by grandparents. They don't want to the hassle of storing and assembling cots, fitting car seats and finding age-appropriate high chairs, bouncers and so on. They call us and we do everything.

Pregnancy

For mums-to-be, we provide an excellent TENS machine hire or buy option. A full hire package only costs £25.00 with no hidden extra charges for babies who don't arrive on their due date!
Please note that the price for UK customers is NOT Vat-Free. This is for channel islands customers only. However our price is still much lower than in the UK.
